“Israeli” Defense Minister Yoav Gallant declared a 48-hour state of emergency starting at 6:00 AM on Sunday.

This decision follows the Israeli Occupation Forces’ (IOF) announcement of a large-scale preemptive operation against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.

Gallant explained that the state of emergency allows the military to issue directives to settlers, such as restricting gatherings and closing certain locations as necessary.

An “Israeli” official emphasized that this operation was not intended to start a war but to neutralize a significant threat to millions of settlers.

He added that the escalation's continuation will depend on Hezbollah's actions, according to “Israel's” Channel 12.
